Anxious familes in Trichy, Kumabakonam await news of loved ones stranded amidst Nepal flood; several remain out of contact

Among those affected by the floods in Nepal is Shivaranjini, a pilgrim from Tamil Nadu travelling as part of a group, who remains stranded in Nepal. Her husband, Muthunathan, has appealed to the Government of India for her safe rescue.
